Note from the Assistant Managing Editor:

We have a host of worthy articles for you this week.

I particularly recommend Fr.  Michael Schmitz' introduction to his new book, "Made for Love: Same-Sex Attractions and the Catholic Church."  "Above all," he says, "I want all those who read this book to know that same-sex attracted people do not have to make a "fool's choice" — a choice between two options, when both of them mean losing."

"If you are going through hell, keep going."  Churchill said this, and I very much enjoyed Christopher Kaczor's piece "Lessons from Churchill's walk with destiny."  In the seven lessons he lists, I know there is one that will inspire you.

Finally — as is common with him — Father George Rutler manages to weave an insightful and entertaining article out of a number of startling and obscure references.  See Pontifical Chic.

God bless you all this week! - Meaghen Gonzalez
