Mercy isn't just an idea. It's an action. It's a virtue.

The reason exorcism films are popular is because it is one of the few phenomena of religious life where the invisible becomes visible, and film makers need action and something to see.

They observed the law: on the Sabbath they didn't walk more than one hundred meters.

On January 13th Pope Francis began a series of catecheses exploring the mystery of divine mercy according to the biblical perspective, "so as to learn about mercy by listening to what God himself teaches us through his Word."  

Is God then so ignorant of things, so unacquainted with the human heart that he has to find out about a man by testing him?  

When I went to bed the night before, I really hoped it wouldn't be there the next morning.  But sure enough, there it was. 

Peace is the simplicity of spirit, the serenity of conscience, the tranquility of the soul and the bond of love.

While meditating on the impassibility of Jesus Christ, I examined, I looked into something that can still move me.

Do not care much who is with you and who is against you; but make it your greatest care that God is with you in everything you do.
