Some Muslim scholars, such as Mirza Ghulam Ahmed, have interpreted the concept of a Holy War, or Jihad, as a personal striving for righteousness. Nonetheless, the incident of violent Islamic Jihads throughout history, especially against Christians, is cause for deep concern.

Christian in a Muslim World

What to Do About Sudan

The government in Khartoum regularly bombs clinics, schools, and food stations in the southern part of the country and in the Nuba Mountains. As a local bishop put it to me during a visit to Sudan last year, They are trying to blow out the candle of Christianity in Sudan.
