There is much clear thinking and good writing in this week's update. Being delighted while being culturally and religiously edified is the expected effect of reading Father George Rutler, and he doesn't disappoint this week. It seems every time Roger Scruton puts pen to paper something penetrating happens, as it does below. While most all of the writers we feature here are bold and powerful advocates of a properly formed Christian understanding, Robert P. George's "exchange of views" with Douglas Kmiec on the question "The Obama Administration and the Sanctity of Human Life: Is there a common ground on life issues?
