Here it is. The one video that politicians who support legal abortion don't want you — or anyone else for that matter — see!

In truth, they fear this video more than anything because it shows the inhumane cruelty and barbarity of the abortion procedure. It puts the spotlight of the abortion "debate" right where it needs to be ... on what abortion does to the child in the womb! After all, if we're going to debate abortion in this country, let's make sure everyone knows exactly what we're talking about.

Sadly, the word abortion has lost its meaning. That's why politicians can get away with making themselves sound appealing to voters when they say they support the legality of abortion ... or of a woman's so-called "right to choose." But when people come to see and know what actually happens during an abortion, then a woman's "right to choose" takes on a different feel.

That said, if you are serious about wanting to end abortion, to watch the short video that has sent shock waves through the abortion industry, and to learn more about the project we are launching this election season! Make no mistake: This video has the power to literally end abortion! The response has already been overwhelming. Pro-life activists have been re-energized. Fence-sitters have been awakened to the true horror of abortion. And even abortion advocates have been converted.

“Is This What You Mean?”

Priests for Life and Gospel of Life Ministries are announcing a special project called “Is This What You Mean?” It aims to educate the public about the nature of abortion and to challenge public officials and candidates who support the legality of abortion to admit what it is.

It is a project that pro-life people everywhere can participate in.

Below is a brief description of this project, along with initial resources that you can use. Additional information will be posted here as the project develops.

We in the pro-life community have been fed up for a long time with “public servants” who can’t seem to tell the difference between serving the public and killing the public. And they call the killing a “choice.”

These abortion supporting politicians get away with what they are doing in large measure because they refuse to talk about what the “choice” actually is. They try to avoid the word “abortion” altogether; but even when they use it, the word has lost practically all its meaning. Voters hear the word but are left with little or no awareness of the gruesome horror it represents.

This election season, it’s time for that to change. No matter what politicians or voters or Church officials are or are not going to do, it’s time that we who know what abortion is draw a line in the sand and give candidates and office-holders alike this challenge.

If you’re going to take a position on abortion, then you’re going to have to come clean about what it is. We are no longer going to let you obscure or trivialize the issue. Whether people agree with you or not, you owe it to them to be honest about what you’re talking about. Therefore we issue this simple call to honesty: We will describe abortion to you, and you tell us if that’s what you’re talking about.

That’s it, pure and simple. This is not a debate, nor a threat. It’s a call to clarity, a demand for honesty. That is not partisan, nor is it unreasonable; it is not fanatical or inappropriate in any way. Nor is this about religion or morality.

Here is what we need you to do:

  1. Watch the two You Tube videos above and get as many others as possible to watch them.

  2. Fill out the form here. My associate priests and I will go to the offices of pro-abortion politicians to challenge them to admit what abortion is — and we want to be able to say that millions of people are asking that question along with us!

  3. Open a You Tube account and sign on as a subscriber to my You Tube channel (www.YouTube.com/frfrankpavone). Then place the two videos above in your “Favorites.” This will help drive more traffic to these videos.

  4. On blogs, in town hall meetings, in editorials, and in every possible way, use the quotes from the abortion industry to challenge pro-abortion politicians. You will find more quotes here.

Fr. Frank Pavone was born in Port Chester, New York and has been active in the pro-life movement since 1976. He was ordained a priest of the Archdiocese of New York by Cardinal John O'Connor in 1988. In 1999, the Daily Catholic named Fr. Pavone among the Top 100 Catholics of the Century. He is the recipient, for the year 2001, of the Proudly Pro-life Award of the National Right to Life Committee.
